Pre-licensed Therapist | Mindfulness Researcher
Rosemary Dorsett is a pre-licensed therapist, research assistant, and yoga and meditation teacher.
I provide therapy and mindfulness-based care for adults in high-demand roles navigating prolonged chronic stress and anxiety. Integrating psychotherapy, neuroscience, and mindfulness-based practices, I help clients strengthen their inner capacity to meet life’s challenges with greater clarity, regulation, and intention.
A few of the areas I work with clients on are:
Burnout
Self-criticism
Overthinking
Perfectionism
Imposter syndrome
Difficulty staying grounded under pressure
Personal growth and development
How I Work
I take a modern, evidence-based approach to mental health care that is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and practical. We work together to understand what’s happening internally – emotionally, cognitively, physically, and contextually – so you can respond skillfully and in ways that align with your values.
I strive to impart practical strategies clients can begin using right away. We may explore how stress operates in the nervous system, how patterns of self-criticism or rumination develop, and how mindfulness and cognitive-based approaches can support regulation and psychological flexibility.
I draw on neuroscience, somatic, and research-backed frameworks to help clients make sense of their experiences and apply what they learn in daily life.
My goal is to offer evidence-based mental health and holistic fitness solutions that support both depth and function, helping clients develop a stronger interior life while staying engaged with the realities of their work, relationships, and responsibilities.
